We've gone from summer to fall very quickly this past week.... the summer lovers in the garden , ( example zinnias) are still quite colorful and will be fading quickly. But the dahlias Wow! Soo much color and in full bloom as they love these cooler temps! Not me though.... it's a shock to my system after the warm summer! Still lots of blooms but I am slowly cleaning out the garden beds and getting ready for winter. Added bonus no immediate frost danger.
Now that the weather is cooler, and the days are shorter, there is lots of time for crafting . I have updated the October classes. The classes are still a fun way to share me love of flowers.
Invite some friends and join a class. They will continue to include a garden tour while the weather allows to see where your flowers are grown. As the weather turns our outdoor classroom moves to my workshop with the overhead garage door open for the outdoor experience so please dress for the weather.
The gardens change per season but are always beautiful, October classes will feature dahlias, pumpkins, gourds and dried flowers. Private classes are available with 6 or more people. Reach out to me and we can choose a date or topic together.
November 15 till Christmas I am knee deep in evergreens. I will be offering classes on centerpieces, swags and such with evergreens. If you don't want to make your own but are looking for fresh, or artificial Christmas arrangements contact me to schedule a viewing appointment.... Well that's enough cold weather stuff... brrr....
I'm still dreaming of a bright beautiful Indian Summer, and a colorful fall!
Thank you!
