The end of 1 season....and the beginning of another....

Updated: Oct 25, 2020

What a day yesterday was! Crazy warmth and thanks to my volunteers we got a lot accomplished in the gardens! I shared a lot of garden knowledge with them And they received free plants.. win win for both of us I think! Still a ways to go but I feel really good about the progress of putting the gardens to bed. I am Really excited about next years gardens!!! So many new ideas..... can't wait already.Fingers crossed for a short winter!

I really can't bring myself to stay indoors for long, I've been enjoying the beauty of the outdoors as long as I can....Still harvesting from the gardens, I'd be surprised if this wasn't the last week for the dahlias though....The eucalyptus, kale and dusty miller are looking amazing, and will for some time yet, along with other cool weather lovers which keep putting out blooms.... I thoroughly enjoy strolling the gardens for these hidden blooms and filling custom orders....

We have 1 more week of scheduled classes. Join us, make a wreath or fill a basket, you choose, with fresh or dried flowers, you choose. Or purchase a kit to make at home. See pictures below of this weeks wreath and basket options...

After this weeks classes we will have 2 options ...... Private sessions will be available when I am working in workshop..... $50 per hour minimum..... Or semi private ... bring a friend or 2 $40 per person per hour minimum.... I have a great selection of dried product you can choose from. Product included in pricing. I will mentor as I am working on my projects. Private groups of 5-8 are also an option. You choose product, priced according to project being made. You must contact me directly to set up any of these options.

Christmas..... Eeks it's almost here! Mid November I begin my wreath making, swags, kissing balls and more. After Thanksgiving I begin centerpieces. So the busyness continues....

I will be organized to start accepting custom fresh or artificial Christmas orders November 1. Cash and carry options will also be available...

Feel free to schedule an appointment or come by during Shetler Tree Farm Hours.

Time flies! It is so hard to believe I have been making Christmas wreaths and such for the farm for almost 35 years!

Changing conditions (covid), changing seasons.... no time to be bored! Always re-inventing...

Thank you for supporting Small business!
